Lyrica’s 2008-2009 concert programs will feature choral masterpieces celebrating the beauty of the Baroque era, the rich harmony of the Romantic era, and the varied choral compositions of the twentieth century.  In December, Lyrica will present “A Baroque Messiah” with chamber orchestra and guest soloists.  The exquisite Mass in E-flat Major by Josef Rheinberger (1839-1901) will be the centerpiece of our Romantic choral concert in March.  Finally, in late May we will conclude the season with a twentieth century celebration of choral innovation and brilliance from American and Canadian composers.
